This course will enable tax practitioners to negotiate appropriately with the IRS on their clients behalf.
After taking this class, tax professionals will be able to understand the different types of notices that the IRS sends out, and what they each mean, as well as best methods of resolution. Practitioners will also be able to recognize the difference between titles and positions at the IRS (such as Revenue Agent and Revenue Officer), and what approached work best with each.
We will also discuss the general state of the IRS as it tries to recover from the COVID 19 pandemic, as well as enforcement priorities regarding COVID 19 relief fraud.
"The seminar at Umberto's was fantastic! The seating was comfortable and there was plenty of personalized attention. Great instructor and I highly recommend NYSTAP. I went into this course confused and came out being able to understand the material. I have a much better grasp now that I've taken this class, highly recommend."
